Surnames: PERCHMENT, PARCHMAN, SPRAGUE, POWELL, AMBERSON
I suspect that Alexander's name may have also been Peter, but more likely it was confused with his son since Alexander and Agnes both died before the 1850 census of Collins Twp lists family names. In that census, the surviving children are Peter (29) and Agnes (23) as heads of household with Anne and William also present. Later genealogists may have assumed that these 2 were the parents rather than the children.
